Babak Koravi
Born in Tehran, Iran in 1960, and having lived around the world.
Babak Koravi is a London based artist who has developed his unique painting style since childhood, as well as his other talents ranging from fashion design to interior decoration.
Although never formally trained in the craft, Babak learned to use various types of paints and supports in a unique way that did not follow or adhere to classically recognized conventions or styles.
His work mainly consists of oil on canvas, but his signature often resides in the hidden details and three-dimensionality of his pieces.
Babak likes to experiment with mixed techniques on his pieces as well as with oil, and his work is now part of many private collections.
Currently lives and works in the United Kingdom.
He has been collaborating with the gallery from autumn 2020.
